Wasn’t impressed with the cookbook
I really liked this book at first, the recipes sounded great and the information was helpful until I finished the intro chapter and actually started trying to follow the protocol. Did she use chat gpt to make these recipes? Surely no one actually tried these themselves before publishing this book. The turkey muffins are not anywhere near muffin-shaped or muffin-textured and fall apart instantly. Rather than wasting a muffin tin why don't you just say cook some ground turkey in a pan, it has the same effect and takes less time. The "Blueberry gel" is even nastier than it sounds. Looks like jello, tastes like empty dreams. All ingredients were wasted in that one because the recipe was awful. The only recipe I liked so far was the chicken because I ended up not having enough money left over after the extravagant week long grocery list she gives, to buy the fresh herbs and had to use what I had at home and improvise. So basically the recipe was great when I didn't follow the recipe. If Sarah made any of these herself she must have a really bland bland bland palate, because I am typically one who eats healthy food the average person doesn't like and I still didn't like it. Very disappointed after I started trying to follow this protocol and cook these recipes.OLD REVIEW:Who knew so many health issues were all related to this one thing, my gut! Sarah writes in a very simple manner that allows anyone to understand the important concepts, but also explains things in a way that helps you to understand the why behind the food choices. The recipes look really great and I’m excited to try this protocol. I love that there is a shopping list and meal plan for each week.
Very clear explanation and helpful food guide.. Glad I made this purchase.
